after the rain photography

I was having a very quiet birthday when some afternoon showers rolled through town...which is my favorite type of weather. After the rain had passed, two beautiful rainbows filled the sky out my back door.

I was standing there with my two little daughters, staring at these wonderful rainbows, when my oldest daughter said, "Mom, I think this is God's way of telling you Happy Birthday!" And I believe she was right.
